That's a great picture!
I do have to ask about the uniform with the tall hat in the back row. I wasn't aware of an American uniform like that! What is it?

The tall hat is called a Shako or Belgic cap it was in use From around 1812ish to 1820s.
The jacket is called a Coatee.
